Reviews and Ratings
While the hotel boasts a clean environment and a generally nice layout, it falls short on dining quality and the distance to the beach. The rooms were well-kept and comfortable, but service standards varied and could be improved. Overall, it offers decent value for a family-friendly resort experience, but it's not quite the luxurious stay we were hoping for.
I had a fantastic vacation at this resort! The grounds were beautifully maintained, and there were plenty of dining options. The pools ranged from quiet to lively, catering to different vibes. However, booking a la carte dinners could be tricky upon arrival, and I found the buffet food could have been hotter. Overall, it’s a lovely getaway, especially with the beach just a short walk away.
Overall, we had a fantastic time at the Grand Bahia Principe Aquamarine. The staff was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. While the resort grounds were beautiful and well-maintained, our room had some drawbacks, including outdated decor and a quiet location but not very scenic. Dining was generally good but be ready to book your reservations in advance to avoid disappointment. The location was nice, but it could be a bit of a trek to the beach, so don't forget to take the trams or wear comfortable shoes.
My stay at Aquamarine was quite mixed. The hotel had some lovely amenities and was part of a well-maintained resort, but the excessive noise and overwhelming crowds really detracted from the experience. The rooms were spacious, but they need a renovation to meet a five-star standard. Dining options were decent, but the service and drink quality fell short. Overall, while there are positives to this place, I don't think I would return.
The Aquamarine resort has a beautiful setting, but it lacks some essential amenities and has noise issues that can affect the tranquility you might expect from an adults-only getaway. The rooms are generally clean but dated, and the overall dining experience is decent, though not exceptional. While the staff is hardworking and attentive, the lack of consistency in service and limited dining options during certain hours can be frustrating.
